Hi! My name is Veronica but everybody calls me Roni and as you saw on my homepage I'm
addicted to tennis! But I also love reading "The Book" (
The Bible). My favorite book of the Bible is the Psalms.
One of my favorite Psalms is Psalm 121. This psalm is
written in the Cherokee language at the Cherokee Indian
reservation in Cherokee,N.C. I saw it when I went to the
outdoor play and was very moved by it. I welcome any
comments you have about my two favorite pasttimes. Stop in
anytime!
Two prayers I'd like to share with you:
Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow your love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love,
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
